The community there will provide free TLDs. But they are not supported by the normal name-servers. So you have to add some additional name-servers in your configuration. A howto can be found here.
It makes me feel great about the future of the net. Sometimes, I am a little bit scared about all the commerce. But projects like this, make sure, the internet will live!

Maybe I can participate somehow. Perhaps with some additional nameservers in Germany. We will see…
